What is country style?

Country style in New England where I live can be cottage style: painted wicker, floral pillows and bright colors; it can be Adirondack style which is woodsy, log cabins and deer antlers; it can also be Americana: red, white and blue quilts, picnic tables and flags...these are just a few and I included my own pictures to show just a couple...
