Its been awhile...

Hope you are all doing ok in Blog-land...I have had some big changes going on and will be able to blog regularly again soon. Cath Kidston in Chiswick...

On my recent trip to the UK, I was lucky enough to find myself in leafy Chiswick for an afternoon of lunch and shopping. My friend knew my must-see was the Cath Kidston store, which I had never set foot in! I have spent lots of time perusing the website for all the goodies, but, the store was just lovely. See below -

Yes please...TURQUOISE...

If I haven't mentioned it before, I LOVE turquoise...in fact, I'm wearing my favorite turquoise necklace and earrings right now. I  just love this color not only for jewelry, but clothes too - so I found some great photos courtesy of the fabulous Pinterest  - tell me, what is your favorite color and why?

Watercolor Wednesday...

Life can be very unpredictable as I found out tonight...an old family friend lost his life in a car accident and he was only 54 and married about 3 years.  I am still shocked by how quickly life can change.  I saw this gorgeous painting and wanted to post it. How do you process grief and stress?  I promise lighter posts soon as I am also supposed to announce a winner for my giveaway this week. Its too late since I have to get some sleep, so enjoy the art:

Tea with the Queen...

It is Jubilee Sunday and I will be enjoying the festivities via TV and will drink from the lovely cup I bought when I was over there last month. It is a beautiful Royal Stafford, made in Great Britain mug with 'ER' and the dates of her reign on it.  Also included are pics from my trip to the Isle of Wight, which I loved.
